DLC layers
Diamond-like carbon. Coatings characterized by an extremely high hardness, good tribological properties and resistance against corrosion, acids and bases. They are produced from gaseous hydrocarbons in a plasma CVD process and are predominantly applied on parts under high abrasive stress (like tools, bearings, gears, etc.).
